The Pharmacy PDX Brand Guidelines
12" x 8" book, 52 pages
The Pharmacy is a restaurant and bar that lives in the historic building that was formerly North Portland's Nob Hill Pharmacy. When the current owners purchased the building, they envisioned a venue that makes nods to its previous life as a drugstore in 1892, while serving as a social hub for everybody in the neighborhood. I created a new pill shaped logo for The Pharmacy that references the "P" in their old logo. I also assisted in selecting typefaces, textures, and colors as part of a brand guidelines book that are reminiscent of a 19th century pharmacy, and designed menus, coasters, and a website home page using a consistent branding system.
